Adam let me know that he and my dad read The Rule of Four by ian caldwell and adam just finished Angels and Demons by dan brown(author of the da vinci code). He asked what I was reading. The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera. I got it from friends (nelson and kim) for my B-Day and finished it 9 days later. It is very captivating and interesting. I don't want to turn people off of the book, but i think that you should be well warned that it is a lot about sex and adultary. it's meant to not be directly about those two aspects, but the people who are involved with both. I highly recommend it, but with a lot of warning.
with all the hype over the spiderman II movie i can't help but laugh. tim always says (and many other strangers have varified this statement) that kirsten dunst and tobey maguire look like me and my old boyfriend (high school) robert king. in every movie they've been in, people always say this. however, seeing them in a movie TOGETHER is just kind of weird and funny.
ok, so my fam. Now that they are back from Alaska i'm hearing a lot about trying to get around this blog. sooo, the weekend of tim's graduation we're going to need to sit at a computer all together and do a little "blog" lesson. it will be fun !!
for some reason americans find it nationalistic to drink, shoot off fireworks, and scream....ahhh, to reminisce on last night.
we (tim, jesse montgomery, and i) are back from chatt. where we spent our sabbath day, and yes also the 4th. it was very amusing to watch josiah roe practice "firework safety rules". if anyone here knows josiah, he is not one for rules, in general. it was very amusing and best to stay a good 10 yards away from the fireworks clan last night. Harley chose the bathroom to hide in.
it was nice seeing jesse, we highly enjoyed seeing him, and missed gel.
i haven't heard much from my fam. They are enjoying Alaska i suppose
