Football Fun

Humoring my husband, AND because I find it interesting, I have been watching our videotaped world cup games in the evenings with him. Giving away how non-athletic I am, my favorite part has been watching the adidas commercials titled "Impossible is Nothing". They are genius and beautiful. I only saw the aesthetic beauty, however, until tim started dissecting the commercials in slow play pointing out all of the little idiosyncrasies and ironies included for all those soccer fans out there...
Oliver Khan's dropped ball (goal for Portugal) during the 2002 final world cup.
Beckenbauer (new pres of Fifa) being digitally pasted into the commercials...tim
pointing out his 1970s clothes in a slide tackle, cutting before you see his face.
Famous footwork by particular players

It's amazing how interconnected the football world is.... how tim can watch a 30 second football commercial…in Spanish… and spend 15 minutes explaining all the parts to me.

To view the commercials:
Which players would be on your impossible team?
