I am currently obsessed with art. Collecting art. I know we neither have the money nor time to actually do this, but I can dream can’t I? My days are split between researching current, but not yet dead artists while trying to write my thesis. Through my meandering on the internet I came across this
gallery in Atlanta. In my pursuit of a specific piece, last Friday night tim and I went walking through this studio. Amazing. I can’t even comprehend what it would be like to have Dali Escher Wyeth Picasso and Warhol pieces sitting on your walls, in downtown Atlanta, and NOT in a museum.
Lynn and I went to that studio when it first opened in Castleberry Hills. I bike by it every day on my way to work. That whole area has changed tremendously in the past years. It's now full of young artists, lofts, and chic places. There's even a garage studio that has an auction every year where you can go in and hang your work and see what people bid for it.
Anyways, biking thru that area every day is one thing I will miss about Atlanta because I know its personality and some of its history.
We still need to hook up with you two before we skip town.
that's nice you guys are down in that part of town....strange to see it change each year huh?. Yeah, we'd love to get together before you are gone. Congrats on Phineas. Lynn was amazing i hear.
