Just one more picture. I thought this one of Anoopa in India was so beautiful. We're all doing ok here in atlanta....surviving and trying to pass classes while still wishing things were different.

To update some on other things.
1) Tim got a job offer from Stan D. Lindsey and Associates . It is supposedly one of the top three structural firms in Atl. (Remember he'll do the structures, and has nothing to do with the architecture.) He's really happy with it; he has a technical firm to work for, at the price he wants, and they'll let him start August 8th after Africa. Oh, and his b-day was Wed.

2) we've bought out tickets, officially. only like 5 weeks away. there is still a ton to do but we can't really think about that stuff now. too much to focus on in school. Dad will hopefully be making me and tim new wedding bands. we hear that we shouldn't bring our originals, or expensive things, to Africa....so some simple silver bands are on the way!!

Car and Adam will be moving to G'ville this summer. Adam has officially been offered a job at PK Young (school associated with university of Florida) and will be graduating May 8th. Adam, it sounds like you'll be getting a free masters soon? maybe. They'll be moving, hopefully, into the duckpond area of G'ville. It will be like being a child again!

Happy birthday, Tim. And congratulations, you spectacularly dedicated Type-A engineering man, you.

Will you two be stopping by Chatty before heading across the sea?

Happy B-day Tim, and congrats on the job offer. Such a stress reliever to get that job offer. I'm glad it sounds as though you guys are doing good. Glad to here about Africa as well, I know Carlee wishes she could go with you two. Don't tell her, but I'm trying to get us tickets to Greece.
All I can say is focus all your energy on school at this point, that's what I'm trying to do. Adam

so adam, i asked car for her backpack...are you planning this trip this summer?

Posted by: ari at April 12, 2005 5:51 PM

Actually, i was just wondering if she would catch it. With getting a house and new jobs and moving and thinking about planning on getting pregnant again and running marathons and oh yeah, everything else we have planned. We are probably just going to go with one or two short trips around this continent. But we will definetly have you two in our thoughts each day. You have a great opportunity to experience what most of us never will.

yeah you will, you're just waiting until Noah and 'the one yet to come' to be old enough for Aunt Ari and Uncle Tim to watch them for 2 weeks!

By (us), I was definetly not referring to Car and I, but mainly the vast population of the world. I do like the idea of Uncle Tim and Aunt Ari hanging out with Noah for a few weeks. Does that mean you two are volunteering and if so, when? Will send Noah over to Africa towards the end of June if that works for you.

he'd be a world traveler!! i'll be back Aug 1st and won't have school until like late August? (assuming no malaria)

Ari, are you and Tim done with school this semester? I hope all went well. I guess you two are planning for Africa. Maybe you could post a blog informing others of what you plan to be doing while your there. I guess will see you next weekend. Have fun at Tim's graduation and tell him congrats (consider this my card). Adam
